Wolfers
KB was our first commercially produce lure that we released in the Summer of
2000. It was designed as a early season lure that is attractive to Coyotes, Red & Grey Fox,
Bobcats, and Raccoon. It has a mild penetrating odor that lasts and works great in
dirt holes as well as any other sets. This
lure was designed to be used during the fur season, but reports of excellent
catches during summer ADC work have shown it is a good year around choice to
reach for no matter where you live.
KB-II Predator Paste
KB-II
is another version of our most popular lure Wolfers KB. It is a middle to late season lure that is attractive to Coyotes, Red & Grey Fox,
Bobcats, and Raccoon. It has a mild penetrating odor with a skunk kicker and
a couple other scents to make it really last in those cold nasty conditions, and
has become a favorite of several Alaskan trappers. It also works great in dirt holes as well as other
sets and can also be used year around.
A mild but penetrating blend of food and essential oils that really brings the raccoons running. Ringtail Renegade really carries on those misty nights coon like to run. This is our "go to" coon lure when moving into a new area and we want to eliminate the variable of wondering if the lure works.
A Very sweet coon lure loaded with essential oils and food items that a raccoon can not pass up. The name really says it all with this lure.
A unique blend of essential oils and food items preferred by raccoons. This bait is thick and sticky. We use this bait as a smear bait, in dirt holes, pockets, and cage traps. We have used it year around for catching raccoon during the fur season, and also taking ADC coon. This bait is gaining a following with raccoon trappers. It is versatile bait and doesn't freeze in colder weather.
Shellfish Plus is a paste type bait that has a very strong fresh shellfish smell to it. Shellfish Plus has a crab base, with several other scents that really make the shellfish odor last and reach out to catch those hungry fish eating coon.
Cat-A-Tonic is a bobcat gland based lure with a blend of other attractive essential oils and glands, and a touch of pure catnip that a bobcat loves to investigate. Cat-A-Tonic has also shown it works very well on gray fox. Try some , you may be surprised.
The all-new combination of lure and bait called Coon Grabbers. This new product is designed for use in dog proof traps, and can be reusable. It is being made in 4 scents at this time, Wolfer’s KB, Raspberry, Fresh Shrimp, and Anise.
To use Coon Grabbers you hold the trigger of the trap forward and slide the Grabber behind the trigger on edge, then using your finger or a stick turn them flat in the back of the trap. The projections will protrude around the trigger giving the coon something to feel, making them work the trap harder. Coon Grabbers are designed to make the trap go off when the coon tries to remove them from the trap. They are freeze proof, water proof and have the scent cooked right into them.
You can bait your DP traps setting in the house watching the TV the night before you set because there is no mess to them. Just make sure to do the Wolfers KB scent in the garage, your significant other may not appreciate the smell of them. :)
